I’m a writer. I’ve been writing in some form or another since grade school. I still have the copy of my first short story, Princess Krissy’s Quest, (circa 1993) tucked away in my office among some other keepsakes. Whether it’s verse, short stories, articles, or the ever elusive finished novel, I love the written word. My office and laptop are filled with many of these things in varying states of completion. I’m probably weird in that I prefer putting the words down on paper to typing them, the speed difference notwithstanding. It’s much like my undying affection for physical books. There’s something indescribable about being able to hold it in your hands, feel the worn pages, inhale that old book smell. Anyhow, this blog is my attempt at finding my voice again after a few unproductive years. I write about what I know, as I see it. I’m also attempting to tackle new subjects, such as sports writing.
